The Fundraising Committee is working hard to organize a number of fundraising initiatives for the 2017-2018 season.

Ever-Green Poinsettia

We are again this year selling locally grown Poinsettia plants from Ever-Green Greenhouses for those members who wish to participate.

The information sheets and order form were handed out last week at announcements but are also attached for those who did not get one.
The forms and money (cash or cheques made payable to RDCBS) are due back no later than next Wednesday, November 21, 2018.  I will be at the fieldhouse starting at 8:30 pm.
The member credits that you will receive are as follows:
     6 inch poinsettia plant   $2.75
     10 inch poinsettia plant  $4.25
     12 inch wicker basket  $4.75
     decorative metal pan  $4.75

Raffle Tickets – Oct 3 – Nov 28, 2018 (or until sold out)

Please support the Red Deer Royals by purchasing 50/50 raffle tickets.  Prize:  Half of proceeds (Maximum $5000)
Must be 18 years old or older to purchase.  2000 tickets printed.
Raffle to be held on December 5, 2018 at St. Joseph High School, Red Deer, AB.  License No. 503087
Raffle books are $50.00 / book and for every book sold the member receives $12.50 in member credits.

Titans Rugby – Rebels Security!

In conjunction with the Westerner & Titans Rugby, the Royals have been invited to assist with event staffing for upcoming events.
In order to participate, volunteers MUST be 18+ with the exception of the few shifts noted below and MUST have completed their ProTect Security
course through AGLC. This is a free course and takes approximately 30-45 min to complete.

Volunteers will receive $10/hr in fundraising credits. These credits DO NOT count towards your required fundraising commitment
but can be used for fees, tour, stampede fees, travel jacket, etc.

Please arrive a minimum 15 minutes prior to start time.


  • No Hats
  • Closed toed shoes
  • Jeans
  • Please do not be on your phones
  • No eating in front of bars or at ice level.
  • You MUST have your Protect course.


Bar Expectations:

  • Please be checking ID’s from anyone who looks under the age of 25.
  • If the customer is of age please place a wrist band on them.
  • Make sure the wrist band is tight so they cannot slip it off.
  • Once your bar closes, walk your bartender down to the main office with their cash. Once they have the cash in the office please find the leader on shift.
  • Please be off phones and no eating in front of bars.


  • When you go to the gate, you must tell them that you are working Security for the Red Deer Titans.
  • When you enter the Centrium, go downstairs – only the far left door will be open.
  • There is a sign-in desk to the left inside the doors.
  • The man at the desk will get you to sign-in, then to the left of the desk there is a locker for the Titans with the “Events Staff” Golf Shirts and Jackets.
  • Please put on a shirt or jacket, then go upstairs and join the rest of the group which will all be sitting having a meeting before every event from the Centrium Staff.


March-a-thon (Jan 9 – June 2, 2019)

The Red Deer Royals March-a-thon is a fantastic opportunity to fundraise for your Calgary Stampede Tour! Fundraising Credits can be used for Camp Caroline, clothing, shoes, travel jackets, fees or be carried over each year to save for our next international tour. Fundraising credits can also be used toward shredding your bond cheques!

Gift Cards (Sept – June 2019)

The forms are a reference of the cards that are available and the denominations that the cards come in.  If you email the orders I can get them pre-entered.

I need 4 pieces of information for each order

  1. The name the order is for
  2. Member’s name for credits
  3. Gift card name, denomination, number of cards * repeat for each of the different cards requesting
  4. Total or your order (so I can double check that I have entered the order correctly)

How it works:

The cards come in already sorted by the person that orders.  If you have several people that you are selling cards to, you can submit multiple orders and they will come pre-sorted if you give me the different names and keep the orders separated.

Members are credited half the percentage that is listed on the order forms.

Orders are available for pickup at the Royals practice 2 weeks after the due date.
