The Fundraising Committee is working hard to organize a number of fundraising initiatives for the 2017-2018 season.

Current Fundraising Initiatives

Opportunity:  Collating/stuffing 29,600 pieces into ziploc bags
Age:  This opportunity is for members (17+) and/or parents/guardians (as requested by Minute Man Press)
Maximum two (2) shifts/member
After Feb 25 – if all shifts are not full, you may sign up for as many shifts as you like.
Members will receive $8.00/hour in fundraising credits
This WILL count towards your fundraising commitment.

Titans Rugby – Rebels Security!

In conjunction with the Westerner & Titans Rugby, the Royals have been invited to assist with event staffing for upcoming events.
In order to participate, volunteers MUST be 18+ with the exception of the few shifts noted below and MUST have completed their ProTect Security
course through AGLC. This is a free course and takes approximately 30-45 min to complete.

Expectations:

  • Closed toed shoes
  • Jeans
  • Please do not be on your phones
  • No eating in front of bars or at ice level.
  • You MUST have your Protect course.

Bar Expectations:

  • Please be checking ID’s from anyone who looks under the age of 25.
  • If the customer is of age please place a wrist band on them.
  • Make sure the wrist band is tight so they cannot slip it off.
  • Once your bar closes, walk your bartender down to the main office with their cash. Once they have the cash in the office please find the leader on shift.
  • Please be off phones and no eating in front of bars.

NOTE:

  • When you go to the gate, you must tell them that you are working Security for the Red Deer Titans.
  • When you enter the Centrium, go downstairs – only the far left door will be open.
  • There is a sign-in desk to the left inside the doors.
  • The man at the desk will get you to sign-in, then to the left of the desk there is a locker for the Titans with the “Events Staff” Golf Shirts and Jackets.
  • Please put on a shirt or jacket, then go upstairs and join the rest of the group which will all be sitting having a meeting before every event from the Centrium Staff.

 

Winter Games “Green Team”

What is the Green Team?  The Green Team provides on-the-ground services and collection of waste and recyclables within the venue at Games time. In addition, they ensure the proper handling and disposal of waste.

Members that commit to being part of the Green Team will split the funds raised through the bottle recycling collected during their scheduled shift.  This will be treated like a bottle drive.

Please note, money raised will not count towards your fundraising credit but can be used for expenses such as; tour, travel wear, etc.

Each day will require 10 band members and 2 adult chaperones - A truck will be required the day of the event and to take bottles to the depot the following day.  This event will be treated as a bottle drive and money raised will be divided by 12.

March-a-thon (Jan 9 – June 2, 2019)

The Red Deer Royals March-a-thon is a fantastic opportunity to fundraise for your Calgary Stampede Tour! Fundraising Credits can be used for Camp Caroline, clothing, shoes, travel jackets, fees or be carried over each year to save for our next international tour. Fundraising credits can also be used toward shredding your bond cheques!

Gift Cards (Sept – June 2019)

The forms are a reference of the cards that are available and the denominations that the cards come in.  If you email giftcards@reddeerroyals.com the orders I can get them pre-entered.

I need 4 pieces of information for each order

  1. The name the order is for
  2. Member’s name for credits
  3. Gift card name, denomination, number of cards * repeat for each of the different cards requesting
  4. Total or your order (so I can double check that I have entered the order correctly)

How it works:

The cards come in already sorted by the person that orders.  If you have several people that you are selling cards to, you can submit multiple orders and they will come pre-sorted if you give me the different names and keep the orders separated.

Members are credited half the percentage that is listed on the order forms.

Orders are available for pickup at the Royals practice 2 weeks after the due date.

Please use the  forms to order your gift cards. The forms and money will be due to the Gift Card Coordinator, Dianna Moore giftcards@reddeerroyals.com by
