The Red Deer Royals Marching Show Band is Central Alberta’s only Marching Show Band . Our band members (aged 11-21) currently represent 20 schools throughout the area. Although most of the 120 members are from Red Deer.

Employment Opporutnity
The Board of the Red Deer Community Band Society (RDCBS) invites applications for the position of DIRECTOR OF BANDS. The Director contracts annually with the Board of the RDCBS to, among other things, provide instruction for the Society’s bands.

FESTIVAL OF CHAMPIONS!
There are not enough words to express my heartfelt thanks to all my volunteers who worked at the Festival of Champions. Whatever I asked—including last minute scrambles, you did without any hesitation. Each of you took ownership of your assigned task and through YOUR effort and hard work made FOC a tremendous success. We had a few glitches, but the crowd and band never saw us sweat and that was important to me. I am already planning for next year and combining that with your feedback and suggestions, I truly believe that FOC will be even better. Thank you!
