The RDCBS is home to the world-class Red Deer Royals Concert and Marching Showband. This band, sitting at approximately 90 members, is an organization that fosters a wide range of talents for Central Alberta's youth (ages 12 to 21), with woodwinds, brass, percussion, and colour guard.
The Red Deer Royals perform as a concert band throughout the winter months, and transition to a marching showband for the summer season. The Royals are also home to the RED Winterguard, whose award-winning performances take place throughout the winter months, after which they join the band for marching season. The Red Deer Royals also perform in various locations throughout Alberta, as well as taking part in international tours and competitions.
